At the end of the match Holland vs Northern Ireland, the Dutch striker, Robin Van Persie, has sent love messages to the Old Lady. The Arsenal’ attacker has commentated on the match just played in which he has scored two goals, and on his future. This morning Tuttosport has quoted his words:
“My future? I agreed with Arsenal to not talk about it. What I can say is that my intention is to play a great Euro 2012 and win it. And then, carrying on by winning in Champions League. Juve? It’s a great team, of course! (He smiles, editor’s note).”
“Winning is what matters. I never felt so strong. I don’t even feel tired between one commitment and another. We don’t have to give much importance to the match against Ireland; it will be that against Denmark to reveal the worth of this team. Anyhow I enjoyed myself. I scored and the game was good. In this moment I want to concentrate on the European, then, there will be time to think about all the other stuff.”
