Juventus’ midfielder Miralem Pjanic left an interview with Corriere dello Sport and Tuttosport.

Miralem has talked about the beginning of the season and his struggles to settle in well with his new club, despite his last, brilliant game against Atalanta.

“I’m taking longer than expected to settle in well, but the only thing that matters is to see Juventus win. I’m relaxed, I know I’ll prove my qualities.”

“The problem is not my position on the pitch. I’ve been playing as centre-midfielder for five years, but there is a new style here and I’m trying to come to terms with it. At AS Roma there were more short passes and much more ball possession.

“Of course there have been criticisms, we have to improve our style and I can say that I have yet to show who the true Pjanic is, we can do more but it is important not to lose many games. After the defeat against Genoa we talked about what was going on, about things we should’ve improved.”

“There is a winning mentality at this club.”

“Higuain needs no assists, he’s so strong he can score goals on his own.”
