Face to the resistance of Athletic Bilbao in the Llorente case and to a little more than a week of the end of the transfer window, Juventus have decided to launch a final assault to try to secure the services of Stevan Jovetic. The negotiations are not yet simple, Fiorentina’s president Andrea Della Valle has always said he will not be deprived of his striker, essential in the Florentine game.
Jovetic has always been the number one target of Antonio Conte as its characteristics would complement perfectly the offensive sector of the Bianconeri. Juve is not willing to pay 30 million euros set by the termination clause, and the assault should continue on its initial bases, that is to say, with cash money plus a technical counterpart (probably Quagliarella, even if the attacker is confident that he can be very useful in Turin).
The interest in JoJo is still valid, but it is unclear how Juve could break the deadlock. Dzeko is an alternative we can no longer valid, but this track is bumpy, especially after the recent injury of Aguero, which should allow the Bosnian man to recover a starting place at Manchester City. The English club have again refused the last proposal made by Juventus 15 million euros, plus 15 million bonus. About Llorente, a new meeting is scheduled today between Athletic Bilbao and the striker’s agents to unblock the situation.
