Today’s edition of Tuttosport again focuses on injury of Giorgio Chiellini. The agreement with UEFA establishes a compensation for clubs in case of injuries suffered by their players with national team in official commitments: European and World Cup qualifiers, the final stages of their respective tournaments or friendly games in FIFA dates from the twenty-ninth day.
The compensation takes over the fourth week of injury and provides for a payment equal to the gross daily salary the player multiplied by each day of inactivity. As reported by my colleague Camillo Forte, for Chiellini, who earns 3.5 million net per season, Juventus should get by the insurance international football around 19,000 euros a day, a total of 421,000 euros if they became reality the less rosy forecasts discussing 50 days of pause.
For Juventus is a small consolation for the burden loss that will undergo in the early days of withdrawal.
