Massimiliano Allegri stated that his team needs to do better both with and without the ball and also joked that his side were “better with 10 men.”

“We weren’t moving the ball around well enough so the referee decided to give us a ‘kick’ by putting us down to ten men”.

“Unfortunately this is one of our limitations. I chose Evra to play on the left of the back three over Benatia because Medhi was not supposed to play Saturday but did. I didn’t want him to risk injury after being out for 40 days. Evra can do well there as he is a natural left footer anyway.”

When asked about Buffon’s match saving performance, Allegri told mediaset the following.

“We suffered a lot from Fekir and Lacazette on the counter. Lacazette almost put us 1-0 down with his penalty, but fortunately Buffon was able to save us there. We must do better in many areas, including running off the ball. If we do not run as much as Milan this weekend, we will be in lots of trouble”.
